Cake in a Cup

A colleague sent me a link to a recipe for chocolate cake in a mug - made in the microwave!   The theory is that even a child can make one.  So to test, I had my hubby make one with me...  theory is correct!

Easy instructions...

1.  Add 4 tablespoons of flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder to the mug.  Mix well.
2. Throw in an egg and mix into the corners.
3. Add 3 tablespoons of butter, 3 tablespoons of milk and a 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract.  Mix very well.
4. Give it a good mix and add a tablespoon of chocolate chips.
5. Chuck it in the microwave for 3 mins, don't open the door until it has risen and firmed up.
6. Turn upside down and serve with custard or ice cream.
