My Week in Pictures

So it’s been a hectic week to say the least!  My folks have been staying with us and we've had various farewell drinks, dinners and parties because my precious brother and sister-in-law have emigrated to Australia :(
Needless to say, the blog has taken a back seat and I'm sorry that there hasn't been a post for ages.  But I've been taking a few pics with my trusty iphone so you have some pretty things to look at!

I took this picture walking down Old Street on our way to the Columbia Market on Sunday.  Love the refelction in the giant puddle!

This was too cute.  This accordian player was part of a four piece band playing 50's tunes.  The gorgeous pup sat there so patiently for photos and petting by the audience.

This ghost cat picture is a bit creepy!  This giant fluffy white cat sat on the roof of a station wagon outside the restaurant we ate breakfast at.  It was quite happy to be be petted by passers by, he seemed to be waiting for a daily treat from the restaurant.  I really don't like cats but even I thought this one was cute!

Our AMAZING breakie from the Laxeiro restaurant on Columbia Road, potato chunks, chorizo and chunky toast - highly recommended!

I saw this in a shop window we passed and just had to take a piccie.  I love this - so much of our time is taken up by TV and its time we all 'smelled the daisies' a little more!

This doesn't really look as good in the picture as it did in real life but oh my word it was good!  A baked camembert with roasted garlic, chunky toasted baguette and to-die-for chutney.  Will definitely be trying this at home.  This gorgeous 'sharer' was devoured at the Waggon & Horses in Surbiton.

  1. The photos are brilliant, La, but the eggs don't look too good. The baked cheese was amazing! xx
