Pastel Baby Shower

Mom and Dad-to-be have decided not to find out if they're expecting a girl or boy so this baby shower had to be done in a theme and colours suitable for either.   We chose owls and pastel colours to keep it fun.

I stuck to the basic layout of previous showers that have worked well with a few twists along the way - I even made my first batch of meringues ever and they turned out fab!

The album is a keep sake for mum-to-be.  It has printed pages for the guests to fill in including 'Predictions' on the birth and 'Wishes for Baby'.
The fresh flowers were displayed in a mini birdcage and cupcake toppers were printed owls to match the bunting.  Water bottles had the pastel pinstripes to fit with the theme

I did the 'Ready to Pop' container in a glass jar rather than in a box as before - see others I've done here and here.  The cake pops went down a treat and the take away building block boxes were again the highlight of the party - a perfect way for guests to take goodies home for hubbies and kids.  See others I've made here and here.

Please feel free to leave comments on the post and do contact me if I can help you with any future parties/events.  Even if just for inspiration!
