Kitchen Chairs: Good As New
This ones easy but you might need some inspiration to make you actually get cracking on those chairs you've been dying to re-cover for months! So for those of you that need the push, here is a step by step on how to cover old chairs (just to remind you how simple it really is!).
You can see how desperately these chairs needed to be covered! Don't worry we haven't had them on show like that! They had multicoloured fabric the first time I covered them but it was time for a change.
Unscrew the cushions from the legs and remove any extra layers of fabric.
Place the cushion onto your fabric and cut it to be about 15 cm wider than the cushion.
Fold the edges over twice so they don't fray and use your trusty staple gun to attached the fabric to the cushion! Staple guns are handy for so many things and really cheap at any hardware store.
When you get to the corners just fold them neatly as you would when gift wrapping. Don't let the corners get bunched or they might not fit back into the frame.
Screw the cushion back onto the legs and there you go! Nothing difficult about that and now you have no excuse to have boring chairs!! Imagine the possibilities!
