Union Jack Ribbon Wreath

I'm in love with wreaths for the front door and what could be more perfect that this Union Jack ribbon wreath to celebrate the queen's jubilee. 

This ribbon was super cheap and the polystyrene ring can be bought in any craft store.  Just a box of pins and you have everything you need to make this super easy project. 

Wind the ribbon around the ring and pin it into place.  I then cut the ribbon into a flag's lengths - about 10cm.  Make it into a loop and pin it to the polystyrene through the middle of the loop so it squashes it.   Do these all the way around at angles to  each other.  I've only done one ring of these mini loops but it would look great with a few more rows.
