A Ladylike Hen Party
This bride-to-be goes by the name of Goose. A very sophisticated goose I'll have you know! So when I became involved in the decor side of things, I wanted to include our feathered friends somehow but keep the party very chic.
I kept the colours neutral and included some vintage bits and bobs like doilies and buttons. I made a load of rosettes from corrugated card and vintage lace and added some cute labels that said things like 'Shake your tail feather' and Let loose Goose'.
The flowers were the main event! Amazing fresh hydrangeas and peonies in the most beautiful rich colours. We spread them around the house and strung some doily bunting above the fireplace to finish it all off.
We dined on a selection of sophisticated snacks and sipped Goose's favourite, Prosecco. This was followed by yummy cupcakes made by one of the hens and cake pops by Loryn Loves' very own Jaime.
I hope you like...
