Strawberry Tea for Breast Cancer Awareness
This Saturday was the Strawberry Tea I've been harping on about daily on Facebook!
This was just an idea brought up in conversation with a friend and it blossomed from there into an awesome afternoon of tea, cake and chit chat all in the name of a cause dear to our hearts - Breast Cancer Awareness.
Our stunning crockery was on loan from Ethel & Pearl Vintage Styling. Absolutely beautiful bone china teapots, milk jugs, cups and saucers, as well as crystal vases, a fabulous vintage picnic hamper and an old school suitcase. Ethel & Pearl kindly donated a Vintage Tea Party as one of the raffle prizes. Check out their website for more information on hiring and tea parties.
Phoenix Trading was at the tea with gorgeous greeting cards. This direct selling company started just down the road in Southfields and now sells in five different countries with over 11 000 traders. They've donated over £1million pounds to various charities since they began. Shop their brand new Christmas collection here. We also had some great cards donated for our raffle.
I had my Stella and Dot Sample collection on show and am happy to say that I have donated 10% of sales taken to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity. Stella & Dot have been supporting this charity throughout the month of October. Net proceeds from sales of their Breast Cancer collection have been donated to the same charity. Please shop through this link for Breakthrough Breast Cancer to benefit.
Each guest brought a donation towards Breast Cancer Care and all proceeds from the raffle tickets went to the charity. Our raffle was filled with goodies donated by all of the above plus others! Snoggy's kindly donated some yummy Biltong and South African treats and the Fit8 Gym donated a free membership for the raffle as well as a free training session for every guest at the Tea.
A fabulous afternoon!
