Recycled Christmas Tree Wreath

I'm not the kind of person that can use the same Christmas decorations for more than one year - I get bored and want to try new things!

So last year's decorations have been sitting in the loft and today I finally dragged them down to see what I could do with them!

I had two small white Christmas trees that I decorated in rainbow coloured baubles for our lunch table last year.  I wanted to recycle them rather than waste so this is what I came up with...

All I've done is use pliers to cut the branches off each tree.  I then bent and pulled two wire coat hangers to force them into circle shapes - the branches are made of wire so they're easily twisted around the wire of the hangers.  I then added coloured baubles to the branches.  Displayed around a few tea light candles and you're good to go!

  1. Wow this is so cool and creative. I too get bored of same decoration but never thought of recycling it this way. Thanks for this post!
