Doily Pin Boards

I love how this has turned out - it's something I saw done on Pinterest with fabric but I've used doilies to mix things up a bit.  I've collected a stash of crocheted doilies over the years - there are so many things you can use them for.

These three cork boards are actually pot holders from Ikea.  They come in a 3-pack and cost just $4.99.  See them here.

This project is super easy.  Cut your fabric (if not using doilies) into a circular shape leaving an inch or two to fold around the back of the cork board.  Position it on the front of the board in the way you want it.  You can keep it in place with a few pins around the edge.  Once you flip it over you can use a staple gun to attach the doily/fabric to the back of the board and then remove the pins.

And that's it!  I have them on the wall alongside a massive frame we use for writing our lists but you could group five or six of them together for a new take on the usual rectangular pin board.  In fact, they would look just as great without fabric or doilies.  You could even paint them.
