Apple Pastries

I steamed and pureed some apples for Miss Ivy and they were nothing short of yummy!  A bit of cinnamon made them even better.  Which got me thinking, how easy would it be to roll some up in puff pastry to make some yummy little strudel type things?  So that's exactly what I did.  And you will be so pleased I did because it's super easy and takes no time at all.  And they are delicious!!

1. Peel and chop some apples
2. Steam them
3. Mash them with a fork (I don't mind lumps but if you do then whiz them into a puree)
4. Add cinnamon
5. Add them to your puff pastry (follow pastry pack instructions for prep and cooking)
6. Fold pastry, press edges with fork and brush with beaten egg
7. Bake until brown and fluffy looking
8. Make a glace icing with water and icing sugar and drizzle over the cooled pastries
9. Eat them all in one sitting because you won't be able to stop!
